#25 Journey to THE ENDs of the Earth

November 16, 2014

Summary

“Come, Holy Spirit” has been a powerful prayer within the Vineyard movement, but its usage in the church dates back to the Middle Ages. What does, “come, Holy Spirit” mean?  It is an invitation to the Holy Spirit to rule and reign over us – and especially places where he hasn’t been in charge before. There’s a tendency for the Holy Spirit to be perceived as divisive or polarizing force within the church, but the Book of Acts clearly demonstrates that the Holy Spirit is the greatest force for unification within the church. In this sermon series, we will learn about how it is the presence and power of the Holy Spirit that brings people into intimate and authentic relationship with God and with each other.
