No other figure in the early Jesus movement shaped the church as much as Paul did in the first two centuries. It’s often by wrestling with Paul that we might better understand the Lord whom he served, and through Paul discover new depths of Christ’s glory. We’d love for you to join us as we explore the life and teachings of the Apostle Paul over a 10 week course through Seminary Now. You can expect a short video teaching, discussion, ministry time, coffee, and dessert!

Why Worship? A Study of Hope & Song

Why do we as Christians sing so much? Why is music part of our services and meetings? In this class we will look deeper into why we worship, and the link of song, hope and resurrection. We will be following a Seminary Now video class led by pastor, theologian, and songwriter Glenn Packiam, which will get us into some discussion and then ministry time together. And of course we will sing together!

Welcome to The Worship Circle–a vibrant gathering where musicians, singers, dancers, and anybody who loves to spend time in God’s presence with God’s people can all unite in the joy of worship! Whether you’re a seasoned musician or simply love to sing along, all are invited to join this enriching experience. The group will include soul-stirring sessions of collective music-making in song swap style, followed by a heartfelt time of prayer and ministry for one another. Non-musicians are warmly welcomed to participate by listening, singing, or engaging in creative activities like journaling, sketching, dancing, crocheting, or knitting. It’s a space where creativity flourishes alongside worship, where hearts are lifted, and spirits refreshed.

Come sip a specially brewed coffee or tea and indulge in a pastry while we study the book of Hebrews with Lisa Harper. The Book of Hebrews is a rich, dense section of Scripture that can intimidate the most scholarly biblical student.
