Children's Ministry

We read in the gospels that even when surrounded by great crowds, Jesus would stop to minister to the children.  He spent time loving them, praying for and teaching them.  We desire to do the same.

We love our kids and want to show them God’s love each week.  We want them to know how important they are and that they matter.  We want them to know how much Jesus loves them and that he will never leave them.  We pray or have the kids pray each week.  We teach them the importance of having a relationship with Jesus.

The doors open to the Children’s Department at 10:20 a.m. on Sunday mornings.  Children’s Church is for ages 2 months to 12 years old at our morning service.   The kids go to the Castle Room, our worship room first.  After worship and announcement and lesson video, the kids are dismissed to their age/grade-appropriate classes.  During their class time, they will do their lesson and pray and have fun.

We do background screenings on all those who wish to serve in the Children’s Ministry to provide the best possible disciples and also to ensure the safety of our kids.

We have our mid-week worship on Wednesdays.  It is called Wacky Wednesday.  It is from 6:30-8:00 p.m. It is for kids ages 5 year old-6th grade. It is free. The kids will do worship, hear a teaching and play games and do a craft.
